Charles Misodi Njapa, known professionally as 88-Keys, is an American rapper and
record producer born on March 5, 1976, in New York City. His interest in hip-hop
began after hearing Prince Paul's production on De La Soul's 3 Feet High and
Rising. In the early 1990s, he met notable figures like Q-Tip, Pete Rock, and
Large Professor while working as an intern at The Music Palace recording studio.
In 2008, 88-Keys released his debut album The Death of Adam, executive produced
