Acid Arab formed in August 2012 in Paris from the collaboration of DJs Guido
Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, who were joined by Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne,
and later keyboardist Kenzi Bourras. The group originated as a concept that
evolved from a Facebook page to a live act and became recognized as a pioneer of
electro‑orientale in France. Their first release, the EP Collections, appeared
in 2013, followed by Jazirat El Maghreb in 2015, and the full‑length Musique de
