Steve Miller, known professionally as Afterlife, is a British downtempo
producer. His career began with the release of Simplicity in 1999, which was
later reissued as Simplicity Two Thousand in 2000. This album captured the
essence of Ibiza and included influences from trip hop, flamenco, and lullaby.
The track "Breather" featured Rachel Lloyd's vocals and was highlighted for its
improvisational recording process. Afterlife continued to release albums such as
Speck of Gold.
