Aiko Kitahara, born on October 11, 1982, in Japan, is a Japanese singer known
for her work in J-pop music. Inspired by her mother's love for bossa nova and
Latin pop, Kitahara began her career with the release of her debut single "Grand
Blue" on May 17, 2002, which served as the opening theme for the anime
television series Tenshi na Konamaiki. Her first mini-album, Sol de verano, was
released later that year. Kitahara's early work included collaborations with
