Best known as the vocalist of the chart-topping Japanese band Porno Graffitti, Akihito Okano is a rock vocalist from Onomichi, Hiroshima. He was born on October 15, 1974, and developed an appreciation for western music as a child. Although his first band, No Score, broke up shortly after its teenaged members graduated from high school, the bandmates reformed in 1994 under a different name: Porno Graffitti.
