Alain Moloto, born on July 27, 1961, in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the
Congo, was a Congolese gospel singer. He began his higher education in 1983 at
the Institut Supérieur de Commerce de Kinshasa and joined a university theater
group, where he started writing songs in French and Lingala. Moloto founded the
group GAEL in 1998 with artists from the Institut National des Arts (INA) of
Kinshasa. His first solo album, Jésus Le Prince Glorieux, was released in 1994.
