Alamire
Alamire is an English vocal consort based in London, specializing in medieval
and Renaissance music, both secular and religious. Founded by David Skinner in
2005, the group swiftly won praise for the quality of its recordings. Alamire
recorded the music accompanying the British Library exhibition that marked the
500th anniversary of the accession of Henry VIII to the throne. In 2011, Skinner
and the consort commenced a ten-year, 30-CD program to explore English choral
