Alena Apina (born Elena Evgenyevna Levochkina on August 23, 1964) is a Russian pop, disco, and chanson singer, actress, and songwriter from Saratov. Apina began piano studies at age five and later graduated from the Folk Song Faculty at the Saratov State Conservatory. From 1988 to 1991, Apina performed as the lead singer of the group Kombinaciya, recording the tracks “Russian Girls” and “American Boy”.
