Alex d'Castro
Alex Domingo Castro Morales—known professionally as Alex D’Castro—was born on
November 19, 1962, in Puerto Rico, and developed a passion for tropical and
salsa music from a young age, initially performing with local ensembles and as a
solo singer with La Selecta, one of the island’s celebrated salsa bands. Revered
for his soulful vocals and expressive phrasing, Alex D'Castro has performed
