Malaysian pop star Alextbh, born Alex Bong in 1998, began the first big steps
toward a music career while he was finishing up his college degree. He began to
teach himself to make music as a teenager, and spent time singing in a church
choir as well as trying to imitate his musical idols like Mariah Carey. His
established his sound, heavily influenced by R&B, on his 2016 single “Stoop So
