Alice Cohen
Alice Melinda Cohen, born on November 25, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio and known as
Alice Desoto, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and fine artist. She
co-founded the band the Vels in 1980. She released her debut album Sky Flowers
in 2008, followed by Walking Up Walls in 2009. Subsequent albums include Pink
Keys (2012), Wild Vines and Tenement Shrines (2013), and Into the Grey Salons
(2015). In 2022, she launched the album Moonrising.
