Alisha Ann Itkin, known professionally as Alisha, was born on April 16, 1968, in
Brooklyn, New York City. She began her musical journey at age eight with vocal
lessons and quickly entered the music business through studio recording sessions
arranged by her parents. At 14, she joined the rock/dance group The Babysitters
and recorded a demo that led to her first single "All Night Passion" in February
1984, which peaked at number 4 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart. Mark S. Berry
produced Alisha's self-titled debut album released in 1985, featuring club hits
like "Too Turned On" and...
