עלמה זוהר
(Alma Zohar)
Alma Zohar, born on June 6, 1977 in Jerusalem, is an Israeli musician and
singer. At age 25, following her divorce, Zohar pursued her childhood dream of
becoming a singer and worked with a reggae band, later finding success with the
singles "עם הגב" and "אגו טריפ". Her debut album דַבְּרי, released in 2008,
achieved gold status in Israel. Zohar was honored by Reshet Gimel and Galgalatz
as Discovery of the Year and Singer of the Year. In 2010, she released her
second album, שלושים ושלוש.
