ALT BLK ERA
Formed in Nottingham in 2020, Alt Blk Era is a UK-based sister duo composed of
Nyrobi Beckett-Messam and Chaya Beckett-Messam. The genre-defying duo released
their debut Freak Show EP in 2023 and scored nominations in the 2024 MOBO and
Heavy Music Awards. Mixing elements of alt-rock with drum'n'bass, rap, and other
elements, the sisters worked with producer Natt Webb for their debut album Rave
Immortal, which was released in January 2025 via Earache Records.
