Amanda Perez is an American R&B and hip-hop performer born in Indiana of Mexican
heritage in 1980. She writes and performs her own songs and attracted the
attention of a small record label that released her debut album, 'Where U At?',
in 2002. Her 2002 track 'Never' peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 but
2003 single 'Angel' went to number 20 on the Hot 100 and number 57 on
