Amaranthe
Amaranthe is a Swedish metal rock band with pop influences and international
success. The group was formed in Gothenburg in 2008. Guitarist/keyboardist Olof
Mörck, vocalist/bassist Joacim (Jake E) Lundberg, singer Elize Ryd, and drummer
Morten Løwe Sørenson comprised the original lineup, which would undergo multiple
changes over the next decade. Even so, the band found a global audience with a
mix of melody, metal, harsh vocals, and clean vocals. Known originally as
