Ammonia
Ammonia was an Australian metal music band formed in Perth in 1992 by guitarist
Dave Johnstone, drummer Alan Balmont, and bassist Simon Hensworth. The group
initially performed under the name Fuzzswirl before changing to Ammonia in 1993.
Ammonia's early success came from self-financed recordings and live
performances, gaining traction through tours of Melbourne and Sydney. In 1994,
they signed with Sony's Murmur label after a successful live recording for
