AMWE
AMWE is a Japanese singer-songwriter known for her work in New Wave and
electronica music. She made her debut with the album I am AMWE on October 7,
2009, under Pure Groove Records. Her breakthrough came when she received an
invitation from French electronic music label Kitsuné to remix a song and
feature her track "Friction Between the Lovers" on their compilation album
Kitsuné Maison 8. She won the Japanese leg of the Diesel U Music competition in
2009. In September 2010, she released her second album Girls. AMWE was selected
