Andrea Guerra, born in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy, on October 22, 1961, is
an Italian film score composer. The son of poet and screenwriter Tonino Guerra,
he studied composition and arrangement with Ettore Ballotta in Bologna before
moving to Rome, where he began composing music for nature documentaries. Guerra
achieved critical acclaim for his film score to Facing Windows (La finestra di
fronte) in 2003, winning the David di Donatello Award for Best Composer,
alongside the Globo d'oro and Ciak d'oro for Best Soundtrack, while co-writing
the Nastro d'Argento-winning song “Go...
