Born in Brooklyn, New York on April 14, 1972, Andrea Martin honed her creative skills as a teenager. After graduating from the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in 1990, she started working as a demo singer. That led to a gig writing songs for a publishing company.
