Andreas Schaerer
Jazz vocalist and composer Andreas Schaerer was born in Visp, Switzerland on
December 17, 1976. He is best known for his unique and eclectic vocal styles,
often incorporated several into the same song. His early musical career began as
a guitarist in punk band Hektor Lebt, before he decided to study singing. At
Bern Music School, he learned vocal art and improvisation, as well as
composition. He formed jazz sextet Hildegard Lernt Fliegen and they released
their self-titled album in 2007. They followed that up with the 2009 album …Vom
