Angela Groothuizen, born on September 28, 1959 in Alkmaar, Netherlands, is a
Dutch singer. She began her music career as part of the band Howling Hurricane
and later joined the pop girl group Dolly Dots in 1979. The group also achieved
popularity with hits before splitting up in 1988. Groothuizen also collaborated
with Ruud Mulder as Angela & the Rude and wrote songs for Kinderen voor Kinderen
and Carmen Gomes. In March 2008, she released her first Dutch-language solo
album Melk en Honing. In 2015, she recorded 14 Sinterklaas songs with Nico
Brandsen, which sold over 175,000 copi...
