Angelika Express

Angelika Express is a band founded in 2002 by Robert Drakogiannakis. The German band initially released songs on their website before debuting with the album Angelika Express (2003) through the Wuppertal-based label Paul. Early releases like the EP Ich bin kein Amerikaner (2003) and the album Alltag für alle (2004) were well-received in the independent music scene. The band disbanded in August 2005, with Drakogiannakis continuing as Planetakis and other members forming Overschmidt.
