Anna Lucia Richter
Anna Lucia Richter, born in 1990 in Köln, Germany, is a German soprano who
transitioned to mezzo‑soprano in 2020. She began singing in the Mädchenchor at
Cologne Cathedral and received early vocal instruction from her mother, Regina
Dohmen, while her father, Martin Richter, played violin in the Cologne Gürzenich
Orchestra. Her career highlights include winning the International
Robert‑Schumann Competition in 2012 and performing at the Rheingau Musik
Festival. She studied with Kurt Widmer in Basel and later at the Musikhochschule
