Appa
Rachid El Ghazoui, known professionally as Appa, born on January 27, 1983, in
Amsterdam-North, Netherlands, is a Dutch rapper of Moroccan descent. In 2002, El
Ghazoui joined the Amsterdam-North rap collective THC (Tuindorp Hustler Click),
contributing to the mixtape De meest onderschatte (2004) and the album Artikel
140 (2005). El Ghazoui launched a solo career in November 2005, releasing the
mixtape TBS: Ter beschikking van de straat (2007) and the debut studio album
Straatfilosoof (2007), which addressed social themes. Subsequent releases
