Ararat
Ararat was a German Christian pop and rock band formed in 1979 in Bad Urach. The
group emerged from the Oase youth outreach program and became one of the most
prominent acts in the German Christian music scene. The band’s history was
significantly impacted by the death of founding singer and guitarist Christian
Stäbler in a 1994 traffic accident. Following a period of uncertainty, the
ensemble resumed activity with new lead vocalist Bianca Poppke in 1995. Their
