Real name Alejandra Ghersi Rodríguez, Arca is a Venezuelan artist born in
Caracas on October 14, 1989. Musician, producer, DJ and performer, she is
recognized for her avant-garde approach to electronic music and her exploration
of gender identities. She began her career under the name Nuuro in an
alternative pop style, and continued her studies at the Clive Davis Institute in
New York, before opting for the pseudonym Arca. Her first two glitch EPs Stretch
