Ariel Abshire, born in Nederland, Texas, is an American indie pop singer-songwriter. She was introduced to the local alternative scene by her stepfather, Lance Fever of Gals Panic, and later connected with producer Andy Sharp. She signed with Darla Records and issued her debut album Exclamation Love in 2008, followed by Still So New in 2011. She also collaborated with Matt Pond PA on "Love to Get Used" on his EP Spring Fools (2011) and with Japancakes on the single "Cardboard" (2020).
