The J-pop girl group ASP was formed in 2021 by WACK, a Tokyo-based production
company known for launching bands whose music flew in the face of mainstream
"Japanese idol" culture. Although the group's membership was initially a
mystery, the roster was eventually revealed to include vocalists like Yumeka
Nowkana (a former member of the short-lived alternative idol group Carry Loose),
Naayu, Nameless, and Mog Ryan. Anal Sex Penis, ASP's debut album, was released
