ASTROPICAL
Astropical is a South American supergroup formed by Colombian electro-cumbia
pioneers Bomba Estéreo and Venezuelan tropical rock band Rawayana. The
collaboration began in early 2024 when Bomba Estéreo's Li Saumet and Rawayana's
Beto Montenegro connected over a shared desire to create uplifting music amidst
global disconnection. Their initial studio sessions in Miami and Santa Marta,
Colombia, led to the creation of their self-titled debut album, Astropical,
