Author & Punisher
Tristan Shone, known as Author & Punisher, was born on October 18, 1977, in New
Hampshire. A mechanical engineer and artist by training, Shone formed the
one-man band Author & Punisher in January 2004. Inspired to build his own
instruments due to the limitations of conventional ones and the difficulty in
finding band members, Shone created custom-designed "Drone Machines" and "Dub
Machines" using raw materials and open-source electronic circuitry.
Author & Punisher released their debut album Melk En Honing on June 29, 2015.
