Azuquita

Nicknamed "Azuquita" for his mellow, delicate voice, Panamanian singer-songwriter Camilo Azuquita is often credited with helping popularize salsa music in Europe. Born Luis Camilo Argúmedes Berguido on February 18, 1946, in Colón, Panamá, he developed an interest in music during his adolescence and began his career performing bolero and guaguancó.
