B21 are an English bhangra band from Birmingham formed in 1996. The ensemble
consists of brothers Bally Jagpal and Bhota Jagpal, and originally included
Jassi Sidhu, who departed in 2002. The group's name is derived from the postcode
for the Handsworth district of Birmingham. They released their debut studio
album, The Sounds of B21 (1996), and received the Best Newcomers award at the
1998 Movie Pageant Awards. Their recording career includes the studio albums By
