Babes in Toyland
Babes in Toyland was an American punk rock group formed in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, in 1987. The original lineup consisted of Kat Bjelland on vocals and
guitar, Lori Barbero on drums, and Michelle Leon on bass. The group's initial
lineup featured Chris Holetz and Cindy Russell, who were later replaced by
Courtney Love and Leon respectively. The band released its debut single “Dust
Cake Boy” in 1989, followed by its debut studio album, Spanking Machine, in
