Baby V.O.X became one of the first K-pop bands to enjoy international success
during the late 1990s and early 2000s, with the group charting multiple hits
throughout South Korea, Thailand, and China. Formed in 1997 in Seoul, South
Korea, the project initially featured Kim E-Z, Lee Hee-jin, Jung Hyun-jeon, Cha
Yu-mi, and Jung Shi-woon. This founding lineup appeared on one album, 1997's
Equalizeher (Voice of Xpression), whose release was followed by the departures
