BACALAO MEN
Formed in Caracas in 1999 by bassist and vocalist Pablo Estacio, Bacalao Men
emerged as a genre-defying ensemble blending Afro-Caribbean rhythms with funk,
hip-hop, and electronic elements. Their self-titled debut album, Bacalao Men
(2001), introduced their innovative sound through tracks like "Cucaracha" and
"Vitaminas." The band's lineup evolved to include notable musicians such as DJ
Hernia, percussionist Vladimir Rivero, and guitarist Rafael Gómez, enriching
their sonic palette. Their second album, El Nuevo Bugalú (2005), featured
standout tracks like "Malibú" and "El Comegen...
