Backyard Babies
Proud exponents of old-school hard rock, Backyard Babies seem somewhat out of
place in today's Scandinavian metal scene. However, the Swedish quartet removes
any hint of the ridiculous on their albums Stockholm Syndrome (2004) and
Backyard Babies (2008). Assaulted in 2002, guitarist Dregen receives support
from Joey Ramone, Nina Persson (The Cardigans) and several other bands on the
track "Friends". 2010 sees the release of Them XX, a boxed set of 3 CDs and 3
DVDs. Backyard Babies is not done with rock, however, and returns in 2015 with
the album Four by Four.
