Balaam And The Angel, a Scottish rock band, was formed in Cannock, England, in 1984 by brothers Mark Morris on vocals and bass, James (Jim) Morris on guitar and keyboards, and Desmond (Des) Morris on drums. The trio had previously worked as part of a cabaret act in Motherwell, Scotland. Their initial releases included self-released EPs and the album Sun Family via their own Chapter 22 label.
