Balla
Armando Teixeira is an atypical figure on the Portuguese music scene. An artist
of variable geometry, he moves from chanson to hip-hop, from electro-rock to
ambient. His incarnation as Balla allows him to approach a universe that Serge
Gainsbourg would not have disowned, where eroticism and humor are the pretexts
for brilliant electro pop. The key to his universe is Resumo (2000-2008 ), a
skilful compilation of his three albums released between 2000 and 2006.
