Barbra Lica
Barbra Lica, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a jazz singer and songwriter.
She discovered jazz at six and earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of
Toronto while majoring in Human Biology. Lica’s 2012 debut album That’s What I
Do was later released in Japan by Universal Records. In 2013 she placed first
runner‑up in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Her second
album, Kissing You (2014), was produced with Lou Pomanti and featured Reg
Schwager and Kevin Turcotte. Lica’s I’m Still Learning (2016) received a Juno
