Benjie
Benjamin Kastner, known professionally as Benjie, is a German reggae and hip-hop
artist born on 24 October 1977. He began experimenting with music at age twelve,
creating beats on an Amiga computer, and made his first guest MC appearance with
Arawak in 1995. Benjie’s breakthrough came with the 2000 single "Ganja Smoka",
which established him in the reggae‑dancehall scene and was later re-released by
DPS‑Productions. He released the album So gesehen in 2003 under DHF Records,
followed by Unterwegs in 2005 with Gimme Mo’ Records, and Gelobtes Land in 2011
through Urban Tree Music. ...
