Benny Borg, born Artie Benny Borg on November 13, 1945, in Gothenburg, was a
Swedish-born Norwegian singer. He moved to Norway in 1968 and began his music
career there. In 1972, he represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest. His
notable collaborations include working with Dizzie Tunes and Grethe Kausland.
Borg released several albums, including Mine Låter På Min Måte (1974) and Benny
Borg Synger Elvis (1980). He won the Spellemannprisen award in 1973 and the
Herman Wildenvey Poetry Award in 2004.
