Beyond The Black
The symphonic metal band Beyond the Black formed in 2014 in Mannheim, Germany.
Initially, the band was the solo project of vocalist Jennifer Haben, who had
previously performed with the short-lived pop group Saphir. Working with an
ensemble of producers and session musicians, Haben recorded Beyond the Black's
debut album, Songs of Love and Death, which charted at Number 12 in Germany and
Number 21 in Austria upon its release in 2015. In order to perform material from
