Béatrice Adjorkor Anyankor was born on January 9, 1957 in Accra, Ghana, into the
family of a diplomat. A Franco-Ghanaian, she soon became a singer and settled in
Paris. In 1985, her song "Tout doucement" reached number two in the Top 50.
