Bill Morrissey, born November 25, 1951, in Hartford, Connecticut, was an American folk singer-songwriter. He began playing guitar at age 13 and formed a jug band in high school. His musical career started after he traveled extensively and settled in Newmarket, New Hampshire. Bill Morrissey, his debut album, was released in 1984 on the Reckless label and later re-recorded for Philo Records.
