Bishop Allen
Bishop Allen, an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, was formed in
2003 by Justin Rice and Christian Rudder. The duo met while attending Harvard
University and initially bonded over their shared interest in punk/indie music.
Their first album, Charm School, released under their own Champagne School
imprint in 2003, received favorable reviews from outlets such as Rolling Stone
and NPR's Weekend Edition. In November 2006, they signed with Dead Oceans and
