Bivattchee was a Japanese rock band formed in 1997 and active until their
disbandment in 2009. The group was founded at Hiroshima Shudo University’s folk
song club and soon caught the attention of TAKEMURA from SNAIL RAMP, leading
them to sign with SCHOOL BUS RECORDS. In January 2001, Bivattchee made their
indie debut, and their first album, Aoi Karasu, sold over 70,000 copies despite
being an independent release. They gained further recognition and signed with
Sony Music's gr8! records, making their major debut in August 2003. One of their
