Kalif Hardcore (vocals) and D2T or Dur 2 Tête (vocals) formed Black Marché in
2003 in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). Inspired by the city's old-timers such as
3ème Oeil and La Fonky Family, Black Marché continue to chronicle life in the
shadow of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde. Black Marché was released in 2007, while the
mixtape Fais 13 Attention in 2008 heralded the release of the album French
Connection in 2009.
