Blackwave.
blackwave., also known as “blackwavedot”, is a Belgian hip-hop duo from Antwerp.
Formed in 2016, the ensemble consists of the producer Willem Ardui and the
rapper Jean-Valéry Atohoun. The band released its debut recording, the EP Mic
Check, in 2017. Their recording history also featured the studio album Are We
Still Dreaming? (2019), which reached number 4 on the Belgium Top 200 Albums
chart. That same year, the ensemble was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award
