Blog 27 was a Polish musical group formed in 2005 by teenage vocalists Tola
Szlagowska and Alicja "Ala" Boratyn. The duo named their band after their shared
birth date, November 27, 1992, and interest in blogging. Their debut single, a
cover of Alexia's "Uh La La La", achieved success in Poland in the summer of
2005. This was followed by another hit cover, "Hey Boy (Get Your Ass Up)",
originally performed by Swedish group Teddybears. Their debut album, LOL,
released on their 13th birthday in November 2005, peaked at Number 2 on the
Polish albums chart and received double platinum...
